These two hard cover coffee table books are part of a series of books that I plan to produce to document and showcase my photography of our region. Whilst I am creating these books mainly for myself as a personal record of my photography I am also making them available for purchase.

The price of a book is the cost to me to have it printed which is $55. Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks unless I have the book in stock.

I plan to add further books to the series in the future with titles like “Autumn”, “Less is More”, “Drama and Musicals” etc.

You can purchase books by emailing me at:

These are very limited edition books so are ideal as unique gifts for friends, visitors and when travelling.

My crowdfunded book of photography, “New England High Country – Contrast & Colour”, can be purchased at NERAM, Reader’s Companion and The Armidale Visitor Information Centre.

Creative Thinking for Photographers by Terry Cooke

Sunday 3 July 2016, 9:30 am to 4 pm. Price: $110 (earlybird) $130 (late bookings)

This will be a challenging workshop for me as I will be moving away, for the first time, from teaching the technical “how a camera works” to the subjective “how do people perceive the world around them”. Scary stuff 🙂 This is a workshop for anyone interested in understanding themselves, the creative process and learning techniques that will help them improve their creativity. The workshop will be a mix of presentations, discussions and tasks to produce creative images. Any type of camera is suitable for this workshop as the emphasis will be on thinking and seeing and not on technical expertise. While this workshop will be challenging (more for me than you!) it will be fun.

Equipment: Pen and paper, imagination, any type of camera. Maximum of 10 people.

Email: Mobile: 0417 675 613 See below for booking details.

Photography in the Field by Michael Taylor

Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 September. Price: $220 (earlybird) $260 (late bookings)

This workshop is designed to get you out and about in an unfamiliar setting with an experienced and friendly tutor. The level of tuition is for raw beginners to advanced participants just looking for that edge.
The two day photography course will aim to provide a maximum amount of practical time shooting images with your camera of choice. You will get an essential set of skills to shoot on the run in the field and capture those fleeting moments that often get by before you are ready. You will get to create photos that require not only technical skills but open up your creativity to convey ideas and emotions that you may not normally consider possible.
